When I decided to give these headphones a try, it was either going to be amazing or terrible. Fortunately for me, they are the former and not the latter! The Audio Technica-M40x is a set of comfortable headphones. They provide you enough comfort during long session monitoring or listening because of their soft ear cups that surround your ears in perfect cushioning without any pain (even after hours). So if comfort’s what you’re looking for then look no further than this product here!

These headphones are made from PU leather and can provide a perfect fit for any ear or head size. They have 90 degrees swiveling earcup that provides easy 1 ear monitoring which is very comfortable on your ears as well as wearing these with glasses. The clamping force of this headphone is standard due to its padded, adjustable earcups & flexible headband so it doesn’t hurt the top of your skull as other ones do!

Sound Profile

This M40x is well known only for its accurate and studio-quality stereo sound. It offers a very well-balanced, clear, and natural-sounding profile with no noticeable audio problems that I could identify even after listening to it extensively over the course of several days. The frequency response range (15Hz – 24kHz) makes these headphones perfect for all genres of music but are designed primarily as an audiophile’s headphone due to the naturally deep low midrange they produce which will allow you to hear every nuance in your favorite songs while still being able to enjoy crystal clear highs without distortion or any other interference from outside noises like traffic noise etcetera).

Does It Leak Any Sound?

Audio Technica MX40 doesn’t leak a lot of sounds. Its over-ear closed-back design prevents sound leakage, but if you listen at a high volume it has the chance to leak some bits here and there. If you want everything done right – always try to listen to most levels that are not too loud in order for your music listening experience to be as good as possible with no other distractions around!

Noise Cancelling

These headphones don’t have any active noise canceling feature. But they passively isolate ambient noises around you and deliver excellent sound isolation in loud environments!

The circumaural design contouring around the ears delivers a comfortable fit for long listening sessions so that your eardrums can only hear one thing – amazing music coming through these speakers.

Does Audio Technica MX40 Any Control System?

The ATH M40x is a headphone that doesn’t come with any controls system. This means you can only control the sound quality from your phone, laptop, or other devices which might not always be convenient.

The lack of an in-line remote and mic on this headphone makes it less versatile for people who enjoy taking calls while wearing headphones because they cannot easily speak into their smartphones when using these earphones.

Build Quality

Audio ATH-M-40X has a robust and durable building quality. This headphone is totally made of plastic, which sounds strange considering the old-school vibe it boasts – but that’s just how Audio Technica rolls! The headband is metal framed with sturdy ear cups to withstand physical force.

There are some weak points though, such as the joint between the headband and ear cup can be damaged easily if dropped from any height greater than 4 feet (1m).

But hey don’t worry because Audio Technica offers 2 years’ worth of hassle-free warranty in case your headphones get damages within this period.

The M-40x is a nice-looking headset with a sleek design and black color scheme. The earcups are oval in shape which makes them comfortable for people who live to listen all day long, like me! I also liked the silver highlights on the back of these headphones because it gives them more character than other simple headsets that look exactly alike but don’t have any detail or flare whatsoever.

The ATH M40X is a fairly portable pair of headphones that folds into a more compact format, making it easier to carry around. Whenever you are going outside, just place the headphone in your backpack before heading out!

The design of the headphones ensures a snug and stable fit for casual listening, but it is not made to withstand rigorous activities such as exercise or heavy workouts.

Is It Waterproof?

The ATH-M40x is an excellent headphone for audio professionals.

“Although it’s not waterproof, the M40X has been designed to be tough and durable with a sealed earcup that keeps out dirt when you are on location.”

For a lot of people, headphones are essential for listening to music. With that being said, many models come with various jacks and adapters so they can be used on different devices without the hassle of constantly switching between them every time you want to listen to something new.

M40x is one such headphone that comes with a 3.5mm audio jack as well as ¼ inches adapter in order to make it compatible not just with most Android phones but also iPhones, iPads etcetera; additionally, Windows 10 PC’s or Macbooks will work fine too- all these options mean there really isn’t any reason why you shouldn’t get your hands on a pair!

Suitable For Gaming?

This is a great option for PC gamers who want to save money but still get the best sound quality. Though it’s not an officially licensed gaming headphone, these headphones are compatible with consoles like PS4 and Xbox One as well as Nintendo Switch which saves you from having to buy another pair of headphones if your friend has one that they let you borrow.

They don’t have a mic so chatting while playing games isn’t possible; however, nothing will come between these over-ear cans and your ears when it comes down to pure audio performance.

How Much Suitable For Studio Monitoring?

M40x is a professional studio monitoring headphone that provides comprehensive features. It ensures your long session mixing or recording with quality sound and comfort, regardless of how much time you spend in front of the screen. This will keep your focus on what matters most: Studio work for all day!

Who Should Buy This?

Audio Technica ATH M40x is an audiophile’s dream come true. This headphone not only delivers crisp and clear sound for studio monitoring, but it also makes a perfect headset to record voice-over with! Not only does this piece of equipment deliver superb sound quality at any given time, but its portability ensures that you can use them anywhere from your travels abroad or on the subway commute home.

Who Might Skip It?

You can skip the Audio Technica ATH M40x if you’re looking for a headphone that’s perfect for outdoor listening like sports, gym, running, or cycling. It isn’t ideal to use this headset in meetings because it doesn’t have noise-canceling features and won’t work as well with phone calls either which will leave your ears feeling sore after long periods of time due to its tight fit. If you are an online teacher then stay away from these headphones; they don’t provide enough isolation so listeners on both ends cannot hear each other clearly during classes.
